Fred lead the twenty three girls in all through some familiar passages back to sunlight. Astra, who introduced herself as a princess of a neighboring land, assisted. Soon, everyone was out in the sun and heading for the closest village, five miles away.

  2. The dragon intercepts them halfway there.
  3. A bizarre militia surrounds them.
  4. One of the girls, Princess Genua, has a bodyguard retreivial spell that works in full sunlight. But not all wanted to go to Genua.
