Suddenly, a figure is spotted descending from the skies. This does stop the argument between Scott and Josh and the hysterical cries for help from Krissy. Beth is face down on the hot sand convulsing, but it's nothing that can't be taken care of with the seemingly endless supplies in Josh's backpack. Edgar Hawkings [12653] is the name of the angel touching down on the rugged, unforgiving Australian soil. Edgar is the offspring of a renegade angel named Chamuel and a British woman. Chamuel had gone rogue during the events only known as the Second War [13228], and he was believed to have been hiding somewhere on Earth. Numerous angels and messengers from a higher plane had also infiltrated the planet, and they were more than willing to eradicate every living thing on it to smoke out Chamuel. Or, it might be easier for them to hunt down his son, Edgar, the half-human, half-angel. Edgar fled England after being confronted by one of the messengers. He spent a year on the run in the British Isles before boarding a flight to America. He was last seen wandering the streets of New York City, having crossed paths with two more enemies of his father, Donel [12676] and Sariel [12922]. It is unclear whether or not Edgar has found his father Chamuel by now, or vice versa. Edgar, for better or worse, is still alive. He is also incredibly confused on how he was summoned to Australia, or better yet, how he was teleported from his last known location. Over the past several years, Edgar had spent a lot of time exploring his angelic powers. There was a lot he could do...and he was still realizing there is also a lot of power that's still out of his hands. Now, Edgar surveys the scene. Two white males stand next to each other; one looks healthy and prepared for the intense Australian heat, the other looks like he's on the brink of hospitalization. A Hispanic woman with a few tattoos and beautiful dark red hair is slowly approaching. Another blonde female lies nearly unconscious on the ground, and if Edgar needs to help anyone first, it would be her. But before anything else happens, we need to discuss Edgar's heightened senses. When he is near someone who is an angel, demon, messenger, or any other being from a higher plane, Edgar will feel a throbbing in his skull, which he uses as a warning sign. For the most part, Edgar has only met mostly non-threatening or neutral angels or messengers. As he looks towards Scott and Josh, that familiar buzz in Edgar's head begins...and for some reason, the throbbing feels amplified a hundred times over. It's intense enough to cause Edgar to drop to one knee, and while such a sensation might kill a mortal human being almost instantly, Edgar's angelic heritage is more than enough to keep him alive. Alive, but with a fierce headache. Edgar already knew about Josh and Scott, and how they were considered two "chaos bringers", even if they largely acted like normal human beings. And to be quite honest, Edgar fully expected to run into his father first before he encountered these two nutcases...
