Unfortunately the companions had got disorientated in the tunnels, and had forgotten that the red door had originally appeared when they had turned to retrace their steps. [5316] Going back through the door in fact meant that they were now going deeper into the caverns again. Even had they not made that mistake, they might still have struggled to find their way out, since they had been thoroughly lost before. [780]

A short distance beyond the red door:

  1. They came to the blue door.
  2. The pool of water had reappeared in place of where the blue door had been.
  3. Exotica said: "If I'm now a powerful sorceress, I wonder if I could conjure up something for me to wear."
