Concerning the Birds and the Bees

"Nothing so melodramatic, or I wouldn't have suggested it. Just a tiny nick will suffice, so that a drop of blood comes in contact with the blade."

"Very well then. If you'll hold out your hand, Princess, I'll nick one of your fingers."

Exotica blushed. "Um, there's one slight snag, Fred. Please don't tell Daddy - or anyone else for that matter - but I'm not a virgin."

Fred gasped in surprise, but then said that he would keep Exotica's secret.

"Thank you. So you'll need to nick yourself."

"Er, I'm not actually sure if I'm a virgin or not."

"What?" Exotica rolled her eyes. "How can you not be sure? Were you so drunk that you can't remember?"

"No, it's not that. Does kissing a girl count? If you use tongues?"

She sighed. "No, it doesn't count. You never had the standard birds and the bees talk, did you? I imagine that your parents were too embarrassed. Well it's high time that you did."

So Exotica explained. When she had finished:

1. Fred said that he was a virgin.
2. Fred said that he wasn't a virgin.
3. Fred said that he didn't understand. What did what birds and bees did have to do with anything?
4. Her explanation had led to both of them becoming rather aroused. Whether or not Fred had been a virgin before, a little while later he wasn't. Now they would need to find someone else.
