No Need To Wait

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 97055

"I doubt we'd have the supplies to wait him out at any rate. I don't even know what there might be in this cave that we can eat," Astra continued explaining. "So, we'd better start heading out of this cave. There's no telling what else there is here that could harm us," she said, anxious to leave her former prison. Her only obstacle was that she preferred to be led out instead of finding her own way out.

Fred couldn't argue with her logic and Velus couldn't argue at all, at least not anything more than a bark or a growl. He had heard of a number of adventurers, magicians, knights, and plain folks being eaten by grues. Then there were bats, spiders, snakes, witches, were-moles, giant worms, goblins, vampires, gelatinous cubes, walls of flesh, golems, lamiae, driders, slimes, and numerous other creatures that inhabited caves or dungeons.

The only question left was would they make it out of the cave, get lost, or encounter some potentially dangerous creature?

  1. They made it back out of the cave, but how were they going to get to the Floating Isles?
  2. Either through magic or a shoddy sense of direction, they end up getting lost in the cave.
  3. A drake appeared! It felt insulted that he had not been mentioned in the list of creatures, though the slime had.
  4. A creature appeared that had the darkest of souls: a cute penguin whose name may or may not begin with a G.
  5. The third strongest mole of the cave approached the group.
  6. A faerie fluttered by.
  7. A catgirl approached the group. Was it to attack or was it to tag along after overhearing them?
  8. A giant blue frog approached the group, standing on its hind legs. His name also might or might not have started with a G.
  9. They ran the hell away from a man with a hood over his head that was vaguely triangular and red.
  10. They were forced to move away from their current location by an oncoming wave of grayish purple liquid.
