The Other Other Satan

"How long have you had these creatures," asked Fred.

"Three years," said the beautiful woman. "They first attacked the Great Kingdom shortly after we met. I don't know how you could possibly forget all this In fact," continued the woman, "it's been exacly three years since we first met, in the Dragon's caves. I suppose it's just like a man to forget an anniversary, but it's not usual to forget that much." She smiled wryly, but not unkindly. "My name is Astra," she said. Fred decided that he would definitely want to get reacquainted with this woman, when he had more time.

Fred barely dodged an incoming demon's sword thrust. He lashed out at one of the demons with his sword, killing it. Astra and Fred had killed many by now, but more kept coming in. ~~How can you kill a demon, anyway?~~ Fred wondered. ~~I don't see how that was possible. Unless maybe...~~

Then, time stopped. Literally. A moment later, the swords had been taken out of their hands. The massive demon horde had closed in on them. "What happened?" asked Astra.

"I think they stopped time, and took away our weapons. Which confirms my suspicions..." Fred addressed the demons. "You're not demons at all! You're S.A.T.A.N members!"

"Let's end this charade," said one of the demons...
