I don't know if you've noticed, but he seems to have been going a bit mad lately." The handsome, high-cheekboned young noble picked a piece of lint off the ruffled cuff of his elegant flowing silk shirt. "I agree with the Duke," said Lord Sarlo, nodding his iron-grey head sagely. "The King has been wandering the corridors at night, crying out and saying strange things. We have been getting worried about him. But KILLING--I don't know if we quite need to go to that step." "Let's put it this way," whispered Lord Fred, the only person in the kingdom who had such a boring name, "If the King is dead...you all move up in rank...Heck, one of YOU might even become King afterwards! I don't want the throne; I'm much more comfortable adventuring than staying indoors all the time." They all looked at each other.
