Dancing Mercurial Dancer....

A strange being, made up of what appeared to be quicksilver! The chamber he was in was made similarly - and there was no exit anywhere!

The dancing knight kept dancing, unable to do anything else. He (?) even dances on when he feels his form surge and shift...into a bare breasted centauress (still made of quicksilver).

....

Very odd seeing how a four footed entity like that dances, but it's a dance all the same.

On the hour, every hour, shift in form after shift in form happens. Always the same mass, but the density varied depending on how large (or small) the form was. Sometimes it was very low density, and sometimes it was SUPER-dense (would have caused a lot of damage to the floor if it wasn't magically reinforced).

On and on the quicksilver figure dances, even after the chamber opens up and a sly looking man (who is dressed like a mage) steps in (through a passageway that forms from the very quicksilver wall itself). A muttered spell causes the dancing figure to levitate out and into the mage's castle courtyard where two other figures are dancing....

1. For some odd reason, he feels an odd....kinship with these other dancers!
