Tabitha the Snow Angel Maker

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 95098

"Right away!" the White Witch nods, overlooking the odd fact that a young girl (albeit one with wings and oddly colored hair) should be giving orders to a sitting monarch. However, given the circumstances AND she was not some kind of pretentious royal twit Sidaj figured that allowances would be made in such a breech (technical) in protocol: a young girl's life was at stake here, after all!

A quick spell through her magic wand and the thrashing girl at their feet still and her form darkens as . . .

"You turned her into a statue?!" Tabitha blinked and helplessly gestures with that odd shovel of her's, not at all sure how to take this latest development! "In-in what manner does this . . .?"

The White Witch gives the young clone an annoyed look and then relents some as it dawns on her what this must look like. After all, her sister (may she burn in the depths of hell) had been in the

"As a statue she is in a form of . . .suspended animation," Sidaj explained softly, putting her wand back in it's place as she does so before turning fully to look at her strange visitor. "Being that she will not be even aware of the passage of time, much less be able feel pain from . . .that."

The last was said with a slight shudder after glancing at the now petrified stomach wound before looking back at Tabitha. As much as she'd seen (and had to do) over the years as Queen (probably before . . .in her prior life), she found it just too much to look at and not feel a bit sick to her stomach. What kind of maniac had that man Tabitha had destroyed would DO such a thing?!

It was a bit beyond her ken, shall we say. Odd though that Astra had yet to say anything about this, strangely silent she had been up until now she had but the White Witch dismissed that odd fact for the moment, at least. Right now the young winged (!) woman with the oddly colored hair was the more pressing issue: she was a Champion! The signs and portents had foretold of this day and meeting (though . . .nothing had hinted at it having been so violent). And the fate of her Nation and People rested on making a good impression so that she could sway the Champion to support her side in the upcoming conflict with Nalsa. Blast it though! She was early and the White Witch had hoped to at least attend to the matter of Astra before now...

"And once we get her to my castle I will heal her wound with the apothecary potions I have there," the Witch finishes, only to frown when she hears something . . .odd coming from the direction of Astra: an odd squawking sound.

"Oh . . .I see then," Tabitha begins, thanking the Heavens above that her Briefing had been correct and this woman before her was something of the reverse of the White Witch of Narnia. She had been most worried there for a moment, wondering just how she was to pave the way and establish some kind of contact with the woman before her sisters made the scene. "But may I suggest we transport this as well since…"

She then pauses to reach down and pick up the eel that had been been flopping and twitching in the snow (looking worse for wear from the cold).

She inadvertently must have made quiet the impression with her appearing before the White Witch of Ainran and her . . .rather odd friend in the feathers and fur just moments ago. Oh, it was not like she had meant to engage in combat with that madman who injured the now petrified girl at their feet, but she must have done something right! Then again, it might have been the fact that she had been attacking the attacker and then sought medical attention . . .

"Pardon, I suggest we please stabilize this eel and bring it along as well," Tabitha continues, pausing to readjust her grip to avoid the biting teeth of the still thrashing creature in her grasp by gripping it’s slimy head more firmly. "The girl and the eel are in a symbiotic relationship. The eel can survive in seawater without her but without the eel the girl will die."

Taking her eyes off the somewhat oddly acting Amazonian warrior princess for the moment the White Witch instead turns full attention to Tabitha.

"Well enough but we shall discuss this matter in more detail in route to my castle," Sidaj said firmly in a tone more a command than observation as she again utilizes her wand, petrifying the thrashing eel in Tabitha’s arms. "But before we go any further I would have two things from you. First, just who are you exactly? I would like to at least have a name to go with the face here. Second, you are a Champion who has been sent here to determine the final fate of my Kingdom and it’s people, pray tell?"

Gesturing to some figures who are now showing themselves (their rather agitated selves) at the woodline, her security detail/servants now are making the scene. They’d been ordered to stay back while the Queen had done this delicate business but the sounds of battle (and loyalty) had drawn them hither. The White Witch wasn’t going to fault them that.

As for the woman’s tone of voice, the last was delivered in a more than slightly curious tone of voice. By now the Witch was beginning to doubt the signs and portents that foretold this day and time. Of Tabitha being a Champion she still had no doubt about (the signs were unmistakable to her keen mystic senses), but who was to say that Tabitha might have just been passing through? Such hadn’t been taken into account before but . . .this whole situation just struck the Witch as decidedly off!

Handing the now stony eel off to a rather apprehensive dwarven servant (the man had seen the handiwork the winged girl’s gauntlet had done to that man who was now a gritty powder all over the battlefield), Tabitha proceeds to do just that, after seeing those same servants carefully lift the statue the injured Little Sister and carry her to the Witch’s awaiting sled (as well as that rather nasty eel statue).

Seeing that her servants (who are skilled in their own manner in giving aid and comfort to the distressed and wounded, well enough for the Queen to trust Astra to their care) are taking care of the woman to their best of their ability. Astra seems to be in generally good health but seems to have fallen into some kind of trance; still with the pressing concerns here . . . Sidaj listens to what Tabitha has to say. Getting the general ghist of what the young clone hasd said, she still finds herself interrupting from time to time to ask yet more questions due to it . . .not being quiet what she was expecting but is somewhat what she had been praying for when it happens!

Astra, who’d been in a daze (which the Witch would have attended to as soon as her business had been done with Tabitha) finally seems to snap out of it and give off a piercing scream/roar as the Chaos energy that had been building up within her being (after so long of exposure to the Game 3 room she’d been trapped within for so long) finally burst forth from somewhere within Astra in a black wave and sends everyone in the vicinity flying!

But the energy (something that Sidaj had little to no real knowledge what it actually was) does so much more than knock people around… Tabitha and the White Witch go flying and land in the snow on the other side of the tear in reality, landing in the snowy lands . . .of Narnia. Along with a rather unwilling and fearful fealine who KNOWS what his presence here will cost him....

  1. "Ah Sidaj and Tabitha, glad you arrived somewhat safe and sound." Aslan purrs softly. "Though I cannot say the same for YOU, Nalsa! You were warned NEVER to come here again..."
