"As you're a seer," Nendi said, "perhaps you could tell me whether I am going to succeed in finding some clothes, or the Robe Warden, or the Royal Locator? Even finding someone sane would be a good start."

  2. "I'm sure that you'll find some clothes eventually."
  3. "I'll need to read the tea leaves before I can tell your future. Would you like a nice cup of tea? Once you've drunk it I can start work,"
  4. "Hey, I'm sane," the seer objected.
  5. "Hey, I'm sane," the seer's companion said.
  6. "Yes, you'll get some clothes soon, but it hardly seems worth it. You're going to die within 24 hours."
