I came, I saw, I conkered

"No," Josh muttered as he watched the slinky trying to climb back up the stairs. "But if you hum a few bars I can fake it."

He sauntered over to Scott and peeked out the door. Several strange creatures, presumably Martians, were sitting serenely in a circle. "What are they doing?" Josh breathed breathlessly.

"I think they are celebrating Gnitchia [TBV 4644]," Scott whispered.

"Let's conquer them!" Josh suggested.

"Why? They look like a stuck up bunch to me." Scott gestured vaguely in the direction of a couple of Martians who were busy applying adhesive to the back of others and sticking them to the purple trees. "I've been her two minutes and haven't even talked to them, and I hate them already."

"Oh gag me with a spoon!" Josh snarled.

"Okay," said Scott and did. Josh, who had always thought the expression was just a metaphor, died from sheer surprise.

1. On with the conquering!
2. Scott, who has trouble with long words, tries conkering the Martians.
3. Josh goes to Hell. Turns out Hell is actually Mars,
4. Happy Gnitchia, everybody!
5. Screw this, follow the slinky.
6. Scott gets stuck to the door.
7. There is no spoon.
