The Never Ending Quest - Episode 9364

They all stared at Melissa, intensely disturbed by the sounds emanating from her. For, although Melissa's lips were moving, her tiny body shaking with the force of the laughter, the voice was most definitely not Melissa's. It was a male laugh, deep and booming: a far cry from the soft, slurred voice of the miniaturized Melissa.

"Uh, this is all getting a little too weird for me," said Stacy. "Anybody want to tell me just what the heck is going on here?"

Melissa's strange laughter, impossibly, grew even louder. "Welcome!" she boomed out in a voice that matched the laughter. Her lips didn't quite seem to sync up with the words. "Welcome to my domain!" She followed this up with a couple more insane-sounding laughs, apparently just for good measure.

"Uh, you're not Melissa, are you?" said Betty 1. The Master gave her a disgusted, why-am-I-surrounded-by-idiots look, and opened his mouth to say something, but Melissa (or whatever was speaking through Melissa) interrupted again.

  1. "Do not worry," the voice boomed. "The one you call Melissa has not been harmed." Somehow, they didn't feel terribly reassured.
  2. "I rule here! I am the master of this place, and soon you shall all serve me!" More evil laughter followed.
  3. "That's for me to know and you do find out!" the strange voice sing-songed.
  4. "I AM Melissa!" it roared. Melissa was grinning evilly.
