This is all a little strange, isn't it?

"Wait a minute," said Carola, "I would like some explanations. What is the power of the Pyramid? Why can only I do this?"

"Well," the leader started to explain...

But before he could explain, the ground started to shake! "Someone's trying to break down our barrier!" cried out an acolyte. Some strange mist seeped into the room, and started to form into a human figure. "Hurry!" yelled the leader. "Swallow it before it's too late!"

Carola picked up the Pyramid and swallowed it, just in time. The human figure fully materialized. It was a strange figure of a man, wearing a bronze mask. The man glared at Carola, hatred blazing in its inhuman eyes, hungering to reach the pyramid. But it could not. In a wail of frustration, it blazed away.

"What was that?" asked Matthias.

The look on the leader's face was one of great fear. "He has returned," he said. "I do not know how this is possible, but he has."

"But I thought he was dead!" said the acolyte.

"Apparently, not as dead as we all thought," said the leader.

"Who are you talking about?" said Carola.

The leader made a sign to ward off evil and said...
