The dragon warrior officer was forced to give ground under Lord Fred’s
onslaught. As he forced him back Lord Fred took the measure of his
opponent, he was skilled, strong, fast, well armoured and weaponed. He was
a dangerous opponent Lord Fred decided, but inferior to him in everything
but his except for his impressive speed. The officer kept giving ground until Lord Fred was clear of the line of smugglers, allowing him to be engaged simultaneously by two ordinary dragon warriors. Lord Fred broke off his attack on the officer to deal with these two new opponents, taking stock of the battle as he did so. Around Lord Fred the battle swirled, the dragon warriors were obviously superior in equipment and training to the smugglers. All the dragon warriors had chain and shields while the smugglers favoured weapons and armour that could be concealed. The smugglers would have been overwhelmed by the dragon warriors, if it wasn’t for the fact that Lord Fred had ended up holding the centre of their line forcing their leader back. At the ends of the lines the smugglers where giving ground while losses on both sides mounted. Realising that he would be overwhelmed by the dragon warriors should all the smugglers fall Lord Fred launched a risky spinning attack at the two Dragon warriors he was facing. He spun smashing his shield into the one of the right, accepting that they would hit him with their swords. They both landed blows on Fred, painful but not debilitating, unlike Lord Fred’s counter strike. Knocking the dragon warrior off balance Lord Fred found his hoped for opening and finished him off. The move had bought the second warrior in close but Lord Fred had a trick for this too. He leapt up and swung the edge of his shield down in a blow that forced the second dragon warrior to his knees. The before he could recover Lord Fred thrust his sword into a gap in his armour. The Dragon Warrior officer assessed the situation and he:
