A sorceress is a sorceress

It dawns on Fred that he can't trust his feelings for this (apparently) beautiful sorceress. If the dragon of the gem was an illusion, could his feelings not also be magically imposed upon him?

"But how could such a treasure be deceitful?" nags a voice in his head. He might have listened, except that the voice is not his own. Fred makes up his mind. This dabbler in the dark arts cannot be trusted.

"But what am I to do with her?" thinks Fred.

1. Tell her the way back to where he met her father and set off without her.
2. Tie her up and leave her.
3. Bind and gag her and bring her along as a hostage.
4. Kill her on the spot.
