not been communicative. I have my suspicions as well but I would like a little evidence to back
them up. As to where we are, it's quite simple. We're already in the Carpathians. I have a
number of bases I've set up across this part of the world connected through spellgates. I took
you here because I knew, given what was at stake, that you would accept." His smile grew wider
and more smug than ever. "Any further questions?"
"Yes," said Astra. She looked him straight in the eyes. "You are clearly a being of great power. None of our weapons can harm you, you can shapeshift, you can forge spellgates. So why do you need two human warriors, however strong, to help you? If you yourself, with all your power, cannot enter the ruins and fear whatever lies within"--the dragon winced at this, showing that Astra had hit the mark--"what makes you think we can accomplish what you cannot?"
