Conversation With St Peter

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 9026

St Peter was very apologetic, but explained that Astra - like the rest of her people - still believed in the ancient Greek gods. However good a life one might have led, not to believe in the Christian God meant one went to Hell. "That doesn't seem very fair!" protested Fred. "Perhaps not," St Peter said, "but I'm afraid it's the way it works. And anyway it's actually one of the less unpleasant parts of Hell, set apart for virtuous unbelievers. Have you ever read Dante's 'Inferno'? That describes it fairly well, though it is wrong in a few details." "Is there no way Astra can be saved?"

  1. "Well, if she could be brought to a belief in the Holy Trinity... Do you want to go and try to convert her?"
  2. "No. I'm sorry."
