Duologue for Djinn and Lamp

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 88349

"And you're just being a selfish piece of flesh," the Wonderful Lamp retaliated. "I don't want to be lonely and unwanted again, and you will give my existence meaning."

"At the price of taking the meaning out of mine. There must be some way of undoing this."

"If there was, do you think that I would tell you?"

"You called me a neodjinn just now. Does that mean that I'm different in some way from an ordinary djinn?"

  1. "No, apart from having formerly been a human. I used the prefix 'neo' necause the original djinni were created countless ages ago, whereas I have only just transformed you. As the transformation was a result of Fred rubbing me, he is now your master."
  2. "The main difference is that previously my owners, by virtue of that ownership, were masters of the djinni who lived within me. But since I no longer have a rightful owner, it is I who am your master."
  3. "Yes. You don't have a master and can't grant wishes. But otherwise you have all the traits of a djinn. You have to spend at least eight hours in every twenty-four inside me, for instance."
