"In ancient days," Astra began, "the land on which my people now live was
the home of the Dark Gods. They were driven off from that region by the
Gods of Light, but their citadel was inhabited by evil, and the land was
regarded as cursed. The minions of the Dark Gods still lived in that
citadel. Eventually, the founder of my people drove out the Dark Gods'

Dark Gods had blocked their sight. I was here to search for a wizard who
used to live in this cave. But when I saw you, and you recognized my name,
I knew that you were the one I was looking for. You must come to my
kingdom and help defeat the Dark Gods." Fred was awed. He had been
charged with a quest of great importance and difficulty, and he did not
