"How much chance do you think that the two of us would have against the
Last Shoggoth without any help," Astra asks.
"Not a lot," Fred concedes.
"Then let's find those clowns."
Fred sighs. He has a bad feeling about this, but when Astra has set
her mind on something he knows that it is hard to dissuade her. "All
right. But remember that we don't have much time. All the while the
distortion of reality will be getting worse and spreading out further and

"The clowns haven't had time to get very far. Come on."
Astra sets off down the passage that the clowns had taken at a fast
jog. Fred runs alongside, trying not to glance at her jiggling boobs too
obviously.

They overtake the clowns. Now they have to talk fast.

They reach a dead end, but there is no sign of the clowns. "How could they just disappear?" Astra asks. "There must have still been a tunnel when they came this way, but with the reality changes it has closed up."
