Fred pondered the seal. "I cannot but try my trusty sword," he thought and
pressed the sword tile with the tip of his own sword. With a grinding crunch the tile turned sideways. On either side of the tile, rusted blades shot from the wall. His instincts well honed for battle, Fred ducked sideways and swung his sword, swatting one blade away while the other swished past his ear. The tile snapped shut, as if nothing had happened. Fred felt warm wetness on his neck. When he reached up to his ear, he found it was bleeding, and as soon as he saw the blood it started to sting. Fred cursed. "Well that wasn't such a smart thing to do, was it Fred old bean?" he said to himself. "Still, perhaps the trap is now spent, and it guards the key to opening this door."
