An Odd Reaction

"It seems something is interfering with my stopping the spell," Belboz said, more perplexed than upset. "Hmm, I wonder if it's the proximity of that other statue? Or maybe - maybe your mage sensed an entirely different magic source in this room. No wouldn't that be..."

"HANG the other magic source!" Yarna yelled. "Is she going to de-petrify on me?!"

"Oh, I have no idea," Belboz admitted cheerfully. "But it'll be exciting to see what happens, won't it?" The Queen's only reply was a sort of strangled moan.

A few moments later, the glow subsided.

1. Restored to flesh and blood, a confused Astra stumbles forward, asking what happened to Pronkelzilch.
2. Restored to flesh and blood, an enraged Astra lunges at her treacherous sister.
3. Restored to flesh and blood, an exhausted Astra crumples to the floor unconscious.
4. Astra is still composed of stone, now alive and (barely) mobile.
5. Astra has remained, apparently, a perfectly petrified statue.
6. Astra is still a statue - but quite a different one than before.
7. Astra is still a statue - but Fred is quite different than before.
