Night Time in the Switching Yard

"Wow, this is a really beautiful place," Steve Thomas mused to himself as he stood on the balcony, taking in the great view of where he had been dropped off in, Port Louis, the capital and largest city in Mauritius, with the Indian Ocean in the background. "I could get to love it here!"

Steve found Port Louis beautiful enough that he was having doubts that he even wanted to leave. But he knew that if he wanted to win the contest, he had to leave eventually, and make his way to Joplin, which probably couldn't have been as gorgeous as this locality is, right?

Sitting down, Steve sketched out plans to possibly invest in some property here, and even keep a townhouse here so he could have a place to vacation at whenever he grew bored back in Minnesota. Even though the I.G.O. wouldn't permit him to contact the other nine contestants according to their regulations, Steve still had access to his money and his attorney back in America, who was very helpful in Steve's decision to move out of his parents' place after high school about ten years ago, and into a decent little spread in suburban Minneapolis.

Glancing at the clock at the wall, Steve saw it was almost six o'clock. He wondered what kind of nightlife Port Louis had to offer?
