Clowns are Experts (At Making Us Laugh)

"Ben, what the hell is that?" one asks.
"It's what I'm gonna hit Tom out there with, for your information!"
"The script said you need a bat. Not a record, Ben!"
"This record has a Bat on it! Bat Macumba! Don't you know the song?" Ben then starts doing a weird dance, enhanced (hampered?) by his clown suit, and singing the lyrics to the song.
"What the hell, man?"
"I don't know that song! Is it by Fall Out Boy? Lil' Wayne, maybe?"
"Sounds like the new Steve Martin song, actually."
"Okay, Ben," Lorne Michaels says. "We have less than a minute to go. We can't let you use that prop to hit Tom with. We'll trade you: the record, for this cricket bat."

Disappointed, Ben hands over the record, gets the cricket bat, and hurries to the stage.
