“Let’s get to Ethan’s and end THIS madness before they get free,” Setsuna mutters tiredly, leaning on her Keystaff. “And before something Else goes wrong tonight!” And pretty much with those words we soon see the Champions and friends part company with the armored Titans, accompanied by a magically induced downpour to quench the fires lit by their battles. They leave the powered armored chaps, but not without a warning given to both sides to "reconsider" continuing hostilities within city limits at the VERY least. It was too deadly dangerous for them to battle in such a congested area, full of civilians you know! And if they should be found fighting again without THOUGHT about that fact then the one who called herself Setsuna (aka Setuna Selene of the Kingdom of the Moon, aka Sailor Moon) then the guilty WOULD be punished (and severely punished) in the name of the Moon. ... Honestly, it was a tossup as what exactly was the direct cause of the strained silences the bound up combatants gave Setsuna at that. Could it been the sheer ridiculous situation of a young woman giving such a deadly threat? The fact that a wrecked ground transport was disintegrated by one of the fuku wearing girl's companion to give emphasis to her threats? Maybe the sheer injustice of having their fight interrupted right in the middle of things? Or maybe in the case of the Horus eyed decorated one's case the added muttering about something called the Horus Heresy and said Warmaster turning traitor, turning to Chaos gods and nearly destroying the Imperium of Mankind. Something about leaving a possible deadly menace at their backs MUCH more deadly than that Iron Monger character over yonder but it being too plain WRONG to just kill the "berk" (just why is this winged woman using terms usually only used by the Orcs, for the Emperor's sake?!). Something about the possessed kid inside the armor paying the price if they should just snuff the Horus puke... Possessed?! If nothing else, the Terminator armor wearing chap is . . .confused badly. Befuddled. Long enough to where his shouted questions seem to fall upon deaf ears as the figures have already turned away, off to handle other business. Using various means of transportation (magic carpet riding, angelic winged flight, or in the case of the Sailor Moon types. . . magically augmented rooftop hopping) they soon find themselves at the steps of the Ethan's establishment... "Looks like the guy already has company...," Rei observes before (calmly) opening the door and entering the establishment, the others quickly following. "And what and HOW did Giles get here without Willow cluing him in on Ethan's shop?" And why didn't he react when we came in right behind him . . .wasn't like we were being quiet about it, Rei mentally adds to herself. "Hello!" Buffy's Watcher, Giles, shouts into the expanse of the costume shop. "Anyone home?" "You mean like besides us G-man?" Xander quips, tugging at the plate armor (with a griffon on it's heraldry vest). While not exactly uncomfortable, the man must admit that Fred Takahashi's spare armor set (magical or not) doesn't exactly breath well. Kind of stiflingly hot, really. "Uh . . .Giles?" Giles continues to ignore the others, peering instead at something about the curtain in the back room which is partially open. "Giles...hey! Look at us!" Buffy shouts, waving a hand in front of the oblivious face right before the man in question slowly begins to go in. The others, befuddled somewhat, follow and see the statue of Janus there. "Earth to Giles, wake UP!!" Giles continues to ignore the others, instead he is looking at the statue of Janus. Its eyes glow even brighter as the others watch, an unearthly (and unhealthy) green coloration. "Janus," Giles says, looking to his side as if talking with someone. "Roman mythical god." "Oh for the love of the Gods. . .he's reenacting the scene from the Halloween episode!" Setuna says softly. "Willow would have been here and he's acting like she really IS here, instead of passed out cold. He's being compelled to do it!" "Hoston, we have a problem then!" Xander says, exasperated and throwing up his hands in disgust. "Shouldn't we just zap evil idol and be done with it and . . " He makes a gesture with his phasor towards the statue in question. "BAD idea!" Lilith shouts alarmed. "As in possibility as 'crossing the streams bad'! Don't even suggest IT!" They'd already seen what kind of trouble can happen when different styles of magery mix unexpectedly with chaos magicks. Goodness only know what would happen when an exotic energy from a honest to goodness scifi weapon gets thrown into the mix!! "Okay. . .no Star Trek crap then," Xander says, lowering his weapon away from the still glowing idol slowly. "But what are we supposed to do now? You all said that the fix was HERE with this idol though. So? Just HOW are we supposed to fix this mess!?" They'd been kind of vague about certain details. Even Buffy, really, and she REMEMBERED this stuff. Unlike him. "Primarily the division of self," Giles interrupts, still oblivious to his surroundings. "Male and female, light and dark." "Simple enough that even a caveman could do it," Reika says, smiling softly as Ethan (the man they wanted to see) steps into the room. Looking at the Moon Princess, she gestures. "If you would, please?" Nodding slightly, Setsuna reaches over with her Keystaff and tips the statue of Janus over, which then shatters as it hits the hard ground at their feet. She almost smiles as she feels the air seems to become cleaner as the chaos magicks fade away. And then frowns as she sees . . .Willow looks rather Drowish still, magicks gone or no! "Chunky and creamy," Ethan quips. "Oh, no, sorry, that's . . . peanut butter and . . .what in the Hell is going on here?" He backs up a little bit into the wall, suddenly finding a literal sword at his throat. He and Giles blink, finally noticing the company around them. "Rayne . . .we have some VERY important questions here for you, ol' chap!" Fred Takahashi says, smiling but not really smiling. "Got a few minutes?"
