Not your garden variety form of illness, we must stress. Fred is alarmingly ill right now, and he really should seek some sort of aid.

Meanwhile, Melissa is still unconscious on the dungeon floor. The skeleton guard is now torn between honoring his obligations to keep invaders from proceeding further into the dungeons and trying to save Fred's life.

Fred, turning an alarming shade of green, slumps down along a cold stone wall onto the floor...

1. It's too late.
2. The guard remains in place, not seeking help for Fred.
3. The guard breaks his oath, and immediately seeks out aid for Fred.
4. Melissa begins to stir.
5. The guard decides to also eat a bug.
