The Master folded his arms (albeit in such a way as to keep the gun handy)
and leaned back against a wall, apparently prepared to wait indefinitely.
The Doctor sighed. "Listen," he said, if we're just going to sit around
and do nothing, do you mind if we at least make some tea?" The Master gave him a disdainful look. "Do as you like, Doctor," he said. "Only" -- he brandished the gun in their general direction -- "no tricks!" "Fine," said the Doctor. "Melissa, go and make some tea." Melissa looked outraged. "Me?! Why should I have to..." Both the Doctor and the Master gave her stern looks, and she sighed and said, "OK, OK. I'll go and make tea. It's better than hanging around here with you people, anyway." Pointedly, she turned her back on them all and left the room. Outside, the bombardment continued. "They don't get tired, you know," said the Doctor, getting only a weary, annoyed look from the Master in response. More time passed.
