The man was like nothing Fred had ever seen before. He was huge, with
impossibly broad shoulders, giant hands, and if he stood up Fred would
guess that he was seven foot tall if an inch. His clothing was torn and
burnt and ragged. And most striking of all were the scars and sutures
that criss-crossed all over him. It seemed as if his hands had literally
been sewn onto his wrists. A deep, dead white scar ran down his
forehead, a forehead that had been stapled onto the man's flattened,
misshapen skull. And two large metallic bolts stuck out from his neck.
To Fred it looked like the man was a patchwork of different body parts all put together with the mad skill of an insane butcher.
