Astra sat up. Every time the water moved across her skin, she felt a
tingling sensation, as if particles were being absorbed into her skin. Was
the water a potion of some kind? No, it couldn't be. It was so warm, and
comfortable...She slid her body lower into the water so she could feel more
of it.
"Ahhhh..." she said, feeling all her muscles relax. "This water sure is comfortable, Ardua." Apparently, Ardua had already discovered the joy of the water. "I know.." she said. "Let's not bother to escape...let's just.....sleep...." Her voice trailed off. Astra couldn't agree more. She was tired, and the water was relaxing. It kept pouring in and in and- Astra stood up, suddenly. "Ardua!" she yelled. "The water! It's making us tired! We're being drowned!" Astra waited, but there was no reply. Frantically, Astra got down on all knees and began searching for Ardua's body in the dark. Eventually, she found Ardua's limp body, but Astra couldn't muster the energy to prop Ardua up. She just knelt there, thinking. If she didn't do anything, Ardua would die. But, on the other hand, the water was *so* relaxing...Maybe she could just lie down and have a nice dream...
