Stacy felt a wave of relief wash through her. If the aliens were already aware of the problem, she figured the odds were good they'd be able to fix it. "Yes!" she said. "That's why we were trying to contact you again. We thought it was probably one of your tests that damaged my memory, and we were hoping you would be able to reverse the effect." She and Robert both looked at the alien hopefully.

  1. "Unfortunately, we cannot do it here. You will have to come with us."
  2. "We could, yes, but there is a problem. The authorities from my world don't want us interfering any more. They've even sent a second ship to police us."
  3. "Well, as you Earth people say, there is good news and bad news..."
  4. "Memory? Odd. We didn't think it would have an effect on your memory.
