Stacy cast a quick glance over at the man behind the counter. He
did seem to be staring at them, though he looked away quickly when
he noticed Stacy looking back. Well, Wu was probably right: they'd pitched
their voices fairly low, and it was unlikely in the extreme that he'd heard
anything. Still, it made Stacy nervous. Wu looked a little nervous, too. Carefully positioning herself so the man couldn't see, she handed Stacy a jammer identical to the one she had. "Don't switch it on until the last minute," she cautioned. "The less time we give them to get suspicious, the better." Stacy nodded. Wu continued, "I'll walk past your door sometime tomorrow night, when I've decided the coast is as clear as its going to get, and knock once. Wait about five minutes, then meet me in the library. I have a route planned out from there. Our biggest problem will be the guard at the front desk, but I have a distraction planned for him."
