The Never Ending Quest - Episode 82368

Josh goes up the staircase. He passes Seinfeld's room, the red door, a silver door (silver?), three gnomes, some fried bacon, fifteen fish platters with fries, several abandoned storage rooms, a vending machine filled with writhing candy, Mitchell, Paco, a portal to Nowhere, a portal to Narnia and a moving sidewalk that promised to take him to Concourse B.
All in all, pretty impressive as Josh could have had any number of horrifying adventures with any of these. But what got Josh's attention was a foot long railroad spike driven halfway through one of the stairs. It is primer-colored, without a hint of rust. The top is slightly scarred, obviously from where the hammer hit it.

  1. Touch it.
  2. Step around it.
  3. Step on it.
  4. Lick it.
  5. Pee on it.
  6. Sit on it (it's too wide for -that-, sickos).
  7. Name it 'George'.
  8. Attempt to pull it out.
  9. Attempt to push it in.
  10. Shake it all about. Do the Hokey Pokey and call up Bill Clinton for advice. Not the former President, the extremly busy gynecologist.
