Staircase Redux Again: The Staircasening

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 82363

After a few weeks, it feels like they never left. Scott is in a previously-undiscovered room that was below a trap door under the washing machine. Down there is a room as big as the staircase room, a bit drafty, but containing a bunch of vintage arcade games, all set to Free Play!

Josh is watching TV, and Jasper is watching the remote in Josh's hand. It has become his quest to get that remote, after two weeks of watching straight Dr. Quinn marathons. Sara is on the computer posting blogs about being stuck in the staircase room.

So, yeah, nothing really going on. Until...

  1. Scott gets the high score on Centipede! They throw a party.
  2. Knight Rider comes on. They watch the new show, mocking it horribly. Jasper weeps.
  3. the oven timer goes off. Sara's cookies are ready!
  4. they all realize that no one has the slightest interest in adventuring up or down the staircase. They are ok with this.
  5. one of them decides to go up (or down) the staircase! Enough boring crap!
  6. no, more boring crap.
  7. even more boring crap.
