Ah, just remover the spaces between there in the links and you’ll get it.

. . .

What? You thought I’d retype all that when a simple link would do? I don’t think so!

And as for what they are going here and how they got here?

Well, soon enough after the “younger sisters” had their 18th birthday (and ceased aging forever after due to that Champion thing) the girls felt . . .restless. Nothing challenged them much as it was right now on Terra Prime so . . .they joined up with the “Exploratory corps” that had been set up awhile ago by the Military Alliance people to explore the universes they’d touched over the years but never really got around to . . .exploring in fuller detail.

Their parents understood the need, having been something of the adventuring types themselves for a while now. Wasn’t without tears when they left but Rei and her sisters were grownups and had to leave the nest sooner or later, right?

. . .

The job was challenging and rewarding for the most part. The sisters liked it and it was good! Had to make a few accommodations to their lifestyle and all that (like hide their wings and other things), but it was a good thing all around. Up until their very last mission, that is.

Things went to Hell in a Handbag with that one, in the end. They and the mission group had wrapped up their survey mission on this parallel Earth. It was one of those “cyberpunk” kind of worlds (massively polluted, ruled by mega-corporations) which happened to be a bit further ahead in the space exploration field than most. Slow forms of Faster than Light drive with the beginnings of space colonies, that sort of thing. All that said, the conclusion had been pretty much as expected: not ready for contact with much more advanced Military Alliance. Fine and well, that did not mean that they couldn’t forgo a costume party they’d been invited to here. Nice way to wind down and recoup before heading on out to their next assignment.

Only problem was that some machine gun armed hit squad decided to crash the party and their were signs that Rei’s group had been one of the hit squad’s targets instead of just innocent bystanders. After drawing their holdout weaponry (plasma based energy weaponry) the girls and most of their managed to get out safely (some didn’t make it). They did try to get to fallback positions but found them compromised. Taking extreme measures the group broke up to try to make their way to safety off planet.

Rei and her sisters stayed together (having grown too emotionally close to separate) and tracked down and hired a disreputable captain and first mate for a . . .space tour. It would be a tour that would last 3 weeks for those aboard the ship (most of which would be spent in suspended animation) but due to time dilatation effects of this reality’s version of FTL it would be long enough for any of their hunters to lose interest and thus Rei and her sisters could seek safety.

Only problem here is that for whatever reason the captain decided that instead of the agreed upon (and paid for) time away he set a round about course a much longer stay away was need: about two centuries. Rei and her sisters couldn’t ask the good captain what was on his mind because he left no records before having died seconds after killing his treacherous first mate as he tried to sabotage one of the sister’s suspension capsules.

. . .

Apparently the first mate had been in the employee of whoever sent out that hit squad.

Anyway, the ship’s computers had locked onto some space station while the sisters had been automatically revived and getting situated when a problem came up. And the problem is related to how long the girls had been away from Terra Prime. See, there is the time limit that Rules and Agents allow their Champions to spend away from their home base/world/reality before being drawn back. The girls found out just HOW they’d been sucked up back to the Terra Prime reality by looking at ship’s sensors and seeing that a wormhole had swallowed them.

To make matters even more interesting an analog of an old friends of the family just happens to have been sucked down into this beast from somewhere/when else: a John Crichton (http://www. scifi.com/ farscape/ characters/ crichton .html) AND his friends and a . . .few non- friends (http://www. scifi.com /farscape/ characters/)! Crichton was from a place where the incidents up to “Unrealized Realities” (http://www. scifi.com /farscape /journey logs /season4 /reality. Html). HOWEVER, the aliens who’d sucked down Crichton to this place were MUCH more ready and willing to kill Crichton and and a group of Pathfinder scientists (http://www. scifi.com /farscape /life form /pathfinder .html) who had dabbled in wormhole navigation knowledge a bit too much and were too dangerous to let live.

. . .

Of course, it begs the question as to why they seemed to have grabbed Crichton from a later part of the time stream (remember wormholes cross space and time kiddies) and then the Pathfinder scientist who’d managed to get themselves fused to Crichton’s ship (where an earlier version of Crichton was as seen in Self-Inflicted Wounds, http://www. scifi. com/ farscape /journey logs/ season3 /woundspt1 .html). But, that’s how these nimrods did it.

THAT will have some interesting repercussions (the time paradox) here soon enough but it would have been even WORSE if they’d actually managed to KILL Crichton and his friends here in the wormhole.

If it hadn’t been for another old friend --a semi-divine entity named Aslan--who’d been swinging on by with Rei’s old flame in tow (a Fred Takahashi) things might have gotten VERY ugly here folks. Aslan intervened. He punted the guys who’d kill back home and let old flames catch up a bit on things...

It was a very weird time for Crichton as he watched all this, but frankly . . .frell him! This isn’t his story.

Soon, Fred and Rei had to part. But not before Fred proposed marriage. Rei accepted.

Fred was helping some Champions with their Quest out in a far away place. When Rei, using local resources, finally arrived at the spot where the ongoing Quest they would be wed (as corny as that sounded).

Now, there is a lot of history between Takahashi and Rei . . .but beyond the fact that each has a thing for the other (even after two centuries by Takahashi’s clock) . . .we’ll leave off here with just that Rei’s VERY motivated at getting to her destination!

But Rei and her sisters wouldn’t be the women they were (Champion’s to the core) if they ran off without at least attempting to heal a dieing friend of Crichton’s: Zhaan (http:// www. scifi. Com farscape /charact ers/zh aan. Html)

Nothing else but a possible magical cure for her condition could be found in time at this wayward hick planet Rei and her sisters found Gilda, Braveheart, and the rest of the elves. The rest you know.

  1. Now, what about their watchers at the Gate of Time?
