"Yes, let us do that." Sigin commented. "I have seen Belboz from time to
time since I was freed, but he was always very elusive about his
cirumstances. His magical aura is strange, though undoubtebly quite
powerful. I fear it is most unnatural."
"He won't deny the truth to me." Adele assured them. Fred, for his part, wasn't so sure. There had been no great challenge in defeating the illusory dragons and freeing Adele and Elaine, surely not for a mage of Belboz's skill. Elaine and Adele were able to free Matthias with magic, and Elaine alone freed Astra, without even causing guardians to be summoned. For now, he kept his thoughts to himself. Before they set out, Elaine pointed out that they really should give Astra something to wear. Nobody had any spare clothing, and both sorceresses quickly warned that using magic to conjure up clothes sometimes had unforseen consequences. (apparently, the mage who invented those spells was something of a trickster) After some more discussion, and then some creative tearing, cutting (using Fred's sword was difficult, but doable) and tying, both Adele and Elaine's robes were shortened to just above the knee, the latter also sacrificing her sleeves. Astra now wore a makeshift, but functional skirt and top, though she would have to continue on barefoot until they could find her some shoes.
