A fleet of nomadic traders, stopping on the island for some literal shore
leave, rescues the two. Three cabin boys, having learned the Allarian
language from their far-traveling grandfather tell the duo that nobody
was quite sure where their homeland was (Grandpa had died before writing
much down) and, via translation, nobody was quite sure where any
homelands they knew were. Of course the duo were welcome to stay on with them, even pregnant women could contribute by keeping watch, sewing or any number of duties that a nomadic fleet had. Astra explains her magical curse and is told that none of the fleet's magicians could reverse a magic coconut, but several of the new doctors on board had a new idea developed by the medical men from the land of 'Aussiebastards'. They could cut into Astra via the stomach and remove the babies that way. After several weeks of preperation (Astra figured she had time with Alfred's foolishness, so it'd be right) the new medical procedure went on.
