Personal Pronouns Can Be So Tricky

Getting no reply, she looks at Fred and realises that he is staring fixedly at the other Astra. She nudges him in the ribs. "Hey, how about paying me some attention?"

"Uh, sorry, Did you say something?"

Astra sighs. "Never mind. I'm just going out to the coat check to steal myself something to wear."

"Why?"

"Because of the note."

But Fred isn't listening, his attention fixed on the other Astra once more. Astra sighs again. What's she got that I haven't got? Apart from being slightly more muscular. Personally, I don't find that 'body builder' look very attractive.

1. Astra leaves the table and heads for the coat check.
2. Astra has already delayed for too long. The event that the other Astra was trying to warn her about comes to pass.
3. The other Astra gets up and comes over to their table. "Didn't you get my note?" she asks "our" Astra.
