The Never Ending Quest - Episode 80118

"IT'S A BLOODY YES OR NO QUESTION!" the wizard raves. "WILL YOU ACCEPT MY HELP!?"

Fred seems intrigued by this notion. "Go on," he goads him.

At this, Belboz throws his hands in the air. "You thick-witted, slow-brained, non-thinking noble nitwit!" he yells. "Did one of those rocks hit you in just the right spot? Just say yes or no, and we can move on. That's it! Are we clear?" Fred nods firmly. "Ok, now, we need verbal agreement. Do you accept my help?"

How intriguing... thinks Fred, continuing to smile and nod. This sounded like a good plan, but he wanted to hear more. "Go on," he goads the wizard.

"AAAARRGHHGHGGHHGHH!!!!" screams Belboz, and then conjures a giant mage hand in the air... which he uses to slap Fred around viciously. After several moments of this, Fred shakes his head and looks at Belboz with fierce eyes.

"I say!" says Fred, "what was that for? I thought you wanted to help me!"

Belboz, his eyebrow twitching, takes some deep breaths. "I DO, sir knight, want to help you. I really do. You need my help, as explained by me, more than once. So, you accept my help?"

Fred...

  1. nods in agreement. "Yes, why didn't you ask me that in the first place?" he says, prompting Belboz to truly understand how frustration can lead to murderous impulses. (whether he acts on them is up to you haha)
  2. frowns, and scratches his head. "Sorry," he says, "what are we talking about again? Something about the dragon?"
  3. seems intrigued by the notion. "Go on," he goads him.
  4. looks around for a menu. "Got something to eat around here?" he asks, ignoring Belboz' question completely.
