I Don't Understand It Either, and I Didn't When I Wrote It

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 80115

With a crashing sound, a mighty sailing ship breaks through the cornwall, sending bicks of corn crashing to the ground. They step back and barely avoided being flattened.

A huge schooner emerges from the hole, busting a trench through the sod as it moves. Completely untroubled by the fact that it's hundreds of miles from the nearest ocean, it crosses the road with a noise of shattering asphalt and road metal. it stops a few feet away from them, the ground mounded up around the keel.

With interest, they note the word "S.S. Butter Cookie" painted on the side. A gangplank drops to the ground in front of them.

"We don't have much time! Climb aboard!" they hear from someone out of sight.

  1. With no other plans, they climb aboard. Cue the "You Are a Pirate" song.
  2. Before they can move, the Butter Cookie starts trading fire with an approaching ship, equally untroubled by the fact it's on land..
  3. Much more weirdness ensues.
  4. Ben Schumin recovers and fights his way up the gangplank with a broken cardboard tube.
