Ralph's Men Encourage Fred and Astra to Go On Stage

The two men who were with Ralph reached for leather pouches hanging from their belts, took out their revolvers, and pointed the barrels at Fred and Astra.

Fred and Astra's world view is that of the feudal Middle ages, of course, but they have an inkling, from the crossbows and cannon of their day, that the men may be carrying weapons of some sort.

Fred said,

1. "Just a little bit of stage fright. Let's get on with the show."
2. "Run, Astra!" as he tried to push his way past the two men.
3. "En garde!" as he lunged his way toward one of the men with his bread knife.
