The Comedians

Three men approach Fred and Astra. By their livery, they look like they are servants of a nobleman. One, who appears to be the leader, introduces himself as Ralph. He tells them that their costumes are perfect for their act, and that they will be on after Jules the Juggler finishes. Fred asks which act Ralph is referring to.

Ralph said,

1. "A husband and wife comedy team - you argue and make the audience laugh."
2. "It is a comedy. You play two gladiators that are duelling to the death. You don't really hurt each other, of course."
