Time Machine Problems

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 78337

Josh finds a note and after several minutes of careful concentration (and pure luck) he figures it out. If he presses the red button, he can go back twenty-five years to the sitting room of the noted humanitatian, George Carlin and hopefully, hopefully get him to start the hand-washing revolution thirty years earlier.
Josh was fully convinced that handwashing led to the vapors and thoughts of men naked but it was a time machine and Josh wasn't too horrible of a person. If the time travel worked, this should mean hand-washing did also and Josh would be saving lives. Girls liked noble men; maybe Josh could get laid and figure out what boobies actually looked like.
Oh, there was the note that only travel to the past was possible with this machine but Josh didn't care, twenty five years ago, the warrants for his wig- eating incidents would not exist. Josh presses the button.

  1. Nothing happens.
  2. He travels back in time to meet Carlin.
  3. Or tries to. Noted nobleman Bill Clinton, he who advocates free loving and the smoking of paper-making products, grabs his hand and punches him real hard in the noggin.
  4. Josh travels back in time fifty years and meets the travel minstrel and faith-healer, Elvis.
  5. George Carlin himself shows up and takes the machine. He runs off into the goat pastures and ultimately the hedge-maze behind Josh's house.
