Before Marlene could explain why she had shaken her head at Astra's last
remark, there was the sound of a commotion from somewhere outside. Then
two young women appeared in the passage leading to the cell. They were
both wearing leather catsuits, which Astra was sure must be against
Corvallia's crazy dress code. One was brandishing a large bunch of
keys. "We're from the Breast Liberation Front," she said. "We overpowered
and tied up the guards. We've come to bust Marlene out of here. Bust -
get it?"
"Very amusing," Astra said. "You mentioned Marlene, but what about me?" "Sorry, but you're in jail for not wearing a corset, not for your breasts being too big. You'll have to wait to be rescued by the Corset Liberation Front." Astra realised that the BLF must be just as crazy as the local authorities seemed to be. Was there something wrong with the water supply in these parts, leading to general insanity? "My breasts are almost as large as Marlene's," she protested.
