Population Implosion

The new ads for SquirrelBurger prove so popular that everyone goes there.

At once.

The entire population of the planet Earth descends on Squirrelburger restaurants. As all of the restaurants are in Britain, the United States, and Canada, this means that the entire population of the planet migrates to those nations. This is less of a problem than one might believe at first, because the military and police of every country on earth are also trying to get their own Squirrelburgers with special sauce and chipmunk-choco-chunk smoothies.

The human population becomes centered entirely around the 400 or so SquirrelBurger restaurants scattered more or less randomly around the world.

1. A global economy based on squirrels develops. Lots42 is crowned global potentate.
2. Suddenly, Peak Squirrel arrives.
3. Ronald McDonald declares a Global Jihad against SquirrelBurger.
4. 99% of the human race dies, due to a disease spread by eating improperly cooked squirrel meat.
5. What are Our Heroes doing in the middle of all of this?
