Debbie seemed a pleasant, friendly person, and she seemed almost
embarrassed as she talked to Stacy about her amnesia. "I just woke up one
morning," she explained, "and I couldn't remember my own name, or where I
worked, or who Donald was. And yet I could remember other, non-personal
things: how to drive a car, the names of the state capitals. Things like
that." Stacy nodded. It sounded very similar to her own experience. And
yet, there was something niggling at the back of her mind, something not
quite right here, perhaps.
