The Never Ending Quest - Episode 76627

Fred sits down, still digesting the contents of the note. He grabs the TV remote and blows the dust off of it. There is a note attached to it explaining how it works. It has a 'ps.' at the bottom:

To any who should come after,

The tv can be a source of solace, but we fear what madness may lurk there once the pillars of the Tower fall. Be careful!

"blah.." says Fred, turning on the television. he flips through about fourteen channels, all snow, finally he stops on a channel that shows two children playing hopscotch. Two children, dressed in victorian attire... two... somehow familiar children.

And then, Fred's spine turns to ice as they both turn to look right at him. "Hello Fred! We are coming for you!" and then the channel fills up with blood and turns to static.

"SHIT!" Yells Fred, jumping over the back of the couch and flinging the remote. "Dammit! What do I do? What do I do?"

what does he do?

  1. Fred pries the boards off the window to behold a dark black and purple vortex spinning in the air. It is emitting a tuneless melody that sends shivers up his spine.
  2. Fred goes up the dark staircase in a panic.
  3. Fred goes down the dark staircase in a panic.
  4. Fred locks himself in the suicide booth.
  5. Fred opens the library doors, runs into the darkened stacks.
  6. Fred sharpens his sword, prepares for battle
