have too much further to travel and ought to arrive at their final
destination of Behjing sometime before nightfall. [57224]
Astra had noticed her dress flicker a couple of times, and her hopes rose. It seemed that Minestus's power over her might be seriously limited here. Of course, he might have been able to impair the permanence of the illusion; she had no way of knowing. After about three hours, when they had left the village some fifteen miles behind, the top of a great tower became visible on the horizon. "Do you think that marks the location of Behjing?" Astra asked. "I've no idea," Fred replied, "though it appears to be in roughly the right location. Since the road is heading in that direction, we should find out before too long."
