Minestus tried to follow up his threat to Astra. Her illusory dress
flickered once, twice, but remained the same. Minestus swore. His powers
were even less effective then he'd imagined. He was certain he could have
done that! He pondered. It must be that native, Kwan. Despite his saying he
could only do "a little magic", it must still be powerful enough to render
his own useless. Had the moment come? [57224] Would he have to try and enter the Three Kingdoms himself in order to try and keep his control over Fred and Astra? The answer was simple: Yes. He'd gone to too much trouble to simply give up now. He knew he had no chance crossing the border in his dragon form, but maybe, just maybe, he'd get away with it as the human Lucieno. Well, there was no point dallying.... Following the same path Fred and Astra had taken, he gradually approached the magical barrier.
