Feeling for a key or some latch on the other side of the door, Astra’s
hand
found a button which she pressed. To her surprise the door started gliding
into the wall. Astra managed to pull her arm out of the hole just in time
before it was cut off. Together Fred, Astra and Velus entered large room with many strange objects and artefacts. On desks along the walls many small gadgets lay scattered, some in pieces, and in the centre of the room a stood a large machine on wheels. It looked like nothing they’d seen before, being made entirely out of a silvery metal so reflective that it looked almost as if made from glass. The shape might have been described as an elongated disc with sleek wings on both sides.
