After Roger discovered Krissy's ongoing affair with Scott, he took all of
his belongings and moved out, leaving Krissy with the full responsibility
of the luxury apartment she once shared with him. Together, they could
easily afford the rent, utilities, and other expenses. Krissy quickly learned that while she made some damn good money at her 9 to 5 job (working alongside Dolly Parton and Lily Tomlin, perhaps?), she was still cutting things pretty close after the bills were paid. Having Scott move in was out of the question, since he didn't seem to even have a job, and he was pretty happy sharing the staircase room with Josh. Krissy was still unaware that Scott and Josh were being compensated quite handsomely by an unknown organization for being two extendable story superstars. Whenever she did ask Scott about where he was getting his money, especially after seeing him pull out a wad of money that could've choked a horse, he would usually change the subject. Looks like you may have to get a second job there, Krissy. So, she went away and did that. A few weeks later, in a great metropolitan supermarket: "Hi, I'm Krissy, how can I help you today? We have some decent specials on lobster and fresh shrimp!"
